Transportation and Fleet Manager - Grafton WI

Primary Responsibilities

Fleet Management

Manage daily fleet operations for Steel Blue Logistics.
Oversee acquisition leasing and disposal of vehicles.
Monitor fuel usage mileage and overall fleet performance.
Ensure timely maintenance and compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.
Develop and manage driver schedules and assignments.

Transportation Operations

Direct daily transportation activities including scheduling dispatching and shipment tracking.
Plan and optimize transportation routes for efficiency and cost savings.
Analyze freight spend identify inefficiencies and implement cost-reduction strategies.
Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers 3PLs and freight forwarders.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics Business or related field (preferred).
Strong knowledge of transportation industry and fleet management practices.
Excellent leadership analytical and communication skills.
