We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us at our Mt Wilga Rehabilitation Hospital and Strathfield Private Hospital. You can come on board full-time or if youre looking for part-time work youll have the flexibility to focus on whichever site suits you best. Its entirely up to you!
What Youll Be Doing:
As the WHS Coordinator youll take the lead on WHS across your facilities working closely with the National Safety Team and the facility Executive Team to foster a strong proactive safety culture.
Key responsibilities include:
Embedding and maintaining the Ramsay safety management system templates and documentation.
Investigating incidents and implementing solutions to minimise future risks.
Conducting risk assessments site audits and workplace safety training.
Developing and maintaining effective safety practices.
Preparing and presenting safety performance reports for internal stakeholders.
What Youll Bring:
To succeed in this role youll need
Tertiary qualifications in WH&S (Minimum of a Cert IV in WH&S).
Experience in Work Health and Safety preferably within the health industry or a large organisation
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels.
A proactive and highly organised approach to managing multiple priorities.
Proven ability to work autonomously.
Excellent planning time management problem solving and decision-making skills
Full Australian work rights a current Police Check & proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
What Youll Be Paid:
Your base annual salary will be between $110000 and $115000 plus superannuation. This is based on your experience and qualifications for a full time role and does not include any penalties or allowances.
