Social Sailor is a community-driven events company that runs social meetups art workshops and curated experiences across multiple cities in India. We operate through a network of city teams hosts and volunteers supported by a structured operations and scheduling system. Our focus is on creating meaningful experiences building strong communities and scaling events in a disciplined and collaborative way.
The City Head leads city-level growth and operations from our Hebbal Bangalore office managing events teams scheduling performance and expansion across multiple cities virtually. The role focuses on city growth people management event pipeline execution procurement efficiency and P&L discipline. Training and guidance will be provided and the role is designed for someone who is willing to take ownership and learn across functions.

Compensation:per month (based on experience responsibility scope and performance)
Working days: 6 days a week (including Saturday & Sunday these are key operational days)

Venue & Event Growth
Onboard suitable venues with strong fit for brand standards
Expand event lineup and introduce city-relevant formats
Review event performance and recommend delisting / replacement where needed
City Team Leadership
Recruit train and support hosts volunteers and role contributors
Maintain a positive working culture and performance accountability
Promote high-performers and transition out non-aligned members
Operations & Scheduling Coordination
Coordinate with the central scheduling team to ensure accurate listings
Monitor timing inventory and city-wise event readiness
Performance & P&L Tracking
Track expenses submissions and reimbursement records
Maintain basic city-level P&L reporting and compliance
Content Marketing & Sales Enablement
Oversee city content scheduling marketing and sales support roles
Ensure alignment on campaigns listings and conversions
Procurement & Cost Optimization
Identify affordable vendors and negotiate better sourcing options
Reduce recurring supply costs while maintaining quality
Event count growth & city pipeline stability
Attendance & event performance health
City team retention & capacity readiness
