FP&A Internship (fmd) | 80-100 | Hybrid working model | Zürich

SMG is seeking a proactive Intern to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Team for at least six months starting ASAP. The FP&A team at SMG is crucial in forecasting planning and supporting decision-making across all business units. We work closely with general managers to ensure the financial health of the SMG this role youll engage in diverse business topics and contribute to our business intelligence efforts. Youll gain expertise in marketplaces real estate finance and insurance providing a valuable learning experience. Were looking for candidates passionate about digital trends and innovative business models especially in the Classifieds and Marketplace industry. Strong communication skills and a desire to learn and grow are essential.

Specifically you will work on:

• Supporting the General Marketplaces FP&A team
• A focus on revenue reporting and modelling and drivers therein
• A focus on month-end and forecast processes
• A focus on revenue planning and driver trees
• Adhoc support of wider SMG FP&A team

Qualifications :

What will you bring to the ride 

• Bachelors or Masters degree in business administration economics or a comparable study
• Keen interest in Classifieds & Marketplace business models
• Strong analytical quantitative and reflection skills
• Independence in managing your tasks proactivity open-mindedness and assertiveness
• Ability to work in a team and under strict deadlines
• Proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and their G-Suite (Google Workspace) equivalents is required
• Knowledge of PowerBI
• Relevant practical experience through first internships is a plus
• Business fluent in English
