On behalf of our client Meadows Urquhart we are conducting a search for a Human Resources Director. The Human Resources Director role is designed for an experienced HR professional who will manage operational HR functions provide wise counsel and judgment in employee matters and effectively lead programs and initiatives that support the firms culture and employee engagement.
The Human Resources Director holds responsibility for all talent acquisition employee relations performance management employment law compliance and health and welfare benefits programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver high-quality HR services contributing to a positive employee experience and strong organizational culture.
- Collaborate with the firms Partners and the Director of Operations to develop and implement employee-focused initiatives that will improve performance productivity and capability.
- Develop and employ strategies to enhance employee engagement retention and workplace satisfaction including recognition programs.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts including job postings and building a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Manage the coordination of interviews and communication with candidates.
- Cultivate a robust onboarding program to support new hire success.
- Oversee all benefit programs to include health insurance programs retirement savings and ancillary benefits.
- Partner with benefits broker 401(k) provider and other consultants to evaluate and implement effective benefits programs.
- Administer compensation plans and programs in collaboration with the firms Partners.
- Manage compensation changes payroll processing and related documentation.
- Leverage technology to streamline processes and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations including required postings notices and training.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR initiatives programs policies and processes. Knowledge and experience in supporting or managing employee engagement retention wellness and/or culture programs.
- Significant experience working directly with executives partners and/or senior leaders of an organization; including driving initiatives implementing decisions and providing status updates.
- Ability to interact effectively with others exercise good judgment and model professionalism especially in stressful situations.
- Experience in handling confidential and sensitive matters with discretion and diplomacy.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in human resource management business management or related field.
- 8 - 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources related roles.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM certification preferred.
- Experience working within a professional services firm preferred.
