Job Summary
Job Title: IT Project Manager
Job Description
A public-sectorfocused organization is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager as part of an upcoming IT staff augmentation engagement. The selected candidate will support multiple IT initiatives across enterprise programs and systems working closely with technical teams business stakeholders and external vendors.
This role requires strong coordination communication and delivery skills in complex regulated environments.
Work Location
Work arrangements may include a combination of:
Onsite at organization offices (New York State locations)
Remote (telework from home or office)
Occasional field work at organization-supported sites as required
Responsibilities
Manage IT projects across multiple business and technical teams
Coordinate project activities with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors
Track project scope schedule budget risks and dependencies
Support both Agile and hybrid project delivery models
Provide clear status reporting and documentation to leadership and stakeholders
Ensure project deliverables align with organizational goals and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
Proven experience managing IT projects in enterprise or public-sector environments
Strong stakeholder coordination across technical business and vendor teams
Familiarity with Microsoft-based technology stacks and cloud environments
Strong organizational communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery models
Exposure to large-scale enterprise platforms and SaaS solutions
Technology Environment (Exposure Preferred)
Microsoft technologies (Windows SQL Azure)
CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce or similar)
Collaboration platforms (Office 365 SharePoint Online)
Project and knowledge management tools (Jira Confluence)
Business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau)
Enterprise financial systems (e.g. ERP platforms such as PeopleSoft or similar)
Preferred Certifications
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
Professional Business Analyst (PMI-PBA)
