Responsibilities

Perform work listed on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership and Honda factory standards
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance
Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems using specialty diagnostic tools and equipment
Execute full automotive troubleshooting and testing
Diagnose maintain and repair systems including:
- Engine
- Transmission
- Electrical
- Steering
- Suspension
- Brakes
- Air conditioning
Communicate clearly with the Service Advisor regarding additional service needs and time estimates
Carry out warranty repairs following manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

Strong ability to diagnose issues quickly
Solid knowledge of automotive systems
Effective analytical and communication skills
Proficient reading computer and math skills
Ability to learn new technology repair procedures and specs
Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
High school diploma or GED required
Technical degree preferred
ASE certifications preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand for extended periods
Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment
Basic computer proficiency
Positive friendly attitude
