What Youll Do:

As part of AcuTechs PSM team you will work directly with clients on projects spanning all aspects of process safety and risk management. Successful candidates will proactively apply engineering and problem-solving skills to meet challenging safety and business objectives while seeking out leadership and growth opportunities. Candidates must have high technical acumen be self-motivated independent organized able to work effectively under direction of senior engineers and handle multiple work assignments and projects.

Whats Required:

• Senior Consultants:10-15 years experience required; ability to develop and lead cross-functional teams manage client relationships develop business and utilize strong project and people management skills.
• Engineers / Consultants:5-10 years experience; self-motivated independent organized able work effectively under direction of senior engineers handle multiple work assignments and projects and seek professional growth and development.
• All Roles:
• Bachelor / Masters in related engineering field (chemical electrical mechanical fire protection safety).
• Relevant experience in process safety management health safety and environment (HSE) related experience in process or engineering design environment manufacturing operations and/or consulting environment.
• Ability to develop consulting business including developing proposals and making presentations
• Self-motivated independent strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills interpersonal skills and client service.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and facilitation skills and a consultative approach in supporting customer projects.

Whats Preferred

• Ideal candidates will be Seller Doers with existing client connections and an ability to generate new business.
• Experience in developing implementing or managing PSM programs
• Experience in developing writing and implementing PSM plans procedures design philosophies design bases engineering specifications standard operating procedures
• Experience in developing and evaluating/auditing PSM management systems and advising management at all levels of the organization to effect positive change to operational excellence.

• Experience and expertise in PSM Technical Services such as:
• Process hazard analyses (PHA) and risk assessments or related studies such as HAZID What-If HAZOP FMEA and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA)
• Quantitative Risk Assessment including QRA studies fault tree/event tree analysis facility siting studies fire hazard explosion and toxic modeling

• Safety Instrumented Systems services such as:
• Safety integrity level (SIL) assessment safety integrity level (SIL) assessment based on recognized knowledge of IEC61511 and related standards

• Experience and expertise in dust hazard management services such as:
• Evaluating processes for dust hazard fire and explosion risks (DHA)
• Auditing for dust hazard management

• Experience and expertise in reactive chemistry hazard management
