As a Sales Intern for Honeywell Building Solutions you will support the ASEAN sales leadership in identifying and pursuing growth opportunities for smart building technologies. You will bridge the gap between technical building management systems (BMS) and commercial value propositions helping to drive the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) through market research and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends competitors and potential new verticals (e.g. Data Centers Healthcare) to enhance regional sales strategies.
  • Sales Operations Support: Assist in managing opportunity data within CRM tools (Salesforce) and support sales reporting and performance tracking for the leadership team.
  • Proposal & Quotation Management: Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for BMS solutions ensuring accurate pricing and configuration in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Customer Engagement: Shadow senior sales representatives during customer meetings to observe real-world negotiation and value-selling processes.
  • Marketing Collateral: Help create content for external communication channels and presentation decks that standardize technical solutions for client pitches.
  • Involve & Leverage on industry-related (BCA/GBC) events to generate qualified leads
  • Support sales team to qualify leads rigorously using ICP & buyer personas
  • Assign qualified opportunities to Account Managers for conversion


Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or Engineering (with a strong interest in the commercial side of technology).
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for professional presentations.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral English skills with the ability to simplify complex technical solutions into clear business benefits.

  • Previous internship experience in B2B sales or building technology sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when managing sales pipelines and forecasts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with people.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
