The Solar Turbines is a wholly owned subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc is on the front line of developing new innovative products that are crucial to the success of customers in a wide range of O&G Industries. We are looking for a motivated creative out of the box thinking Technical Leader to work in a fast-paced engineering environment using the agile development process to see Solar experience profitable growth and make our customers successful.
Responsibilities
Managing staffing development and performance management for the engineering team; motivating and developing project and team members.
Providing specialized engineering technical support and consulting services to various areas of the organization.
Manage a multidisciplinary team (Mechanical PCE Electrical CDE) to deliver projects on time
Champion the Agile Process and guide the team to solve technical problems
Assisting with high-impact long-duration engineering initiatives and projects; ensuring achievement of the engineering plan and product quality.
Maintaining product release plans and material plans; driving programs to completion on time and within budget.
Degree Requirement
A bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or university or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum 12 years of experience from Turbomachinery relevant industries.
