Job Summary

A 6-month Research Fellow position is available in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting laboratory test on cementitious materials

  • Writing project reports

  • Writing scientific papers

  • Supervising research students

Job Requirements:

  • PhD degree in Civil Engineering from reputable universities/institutions.

  • Research experience in cementitious materials.

  • Strong publication record in reputable journals (published more than 4 journal papers).

  • Experienced in fundamental geotechnical tests leaching tests and materials micro-structural analysis (e.g. XRD SEM MIP TGA and FTIR).

  • Good English writing and communication skills- essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders

  • Experience in supervising research students and writing research proposals.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives.
