Responsibilities:
Lead and execute for new or OEM business and Service business process related to couplers and gear-units for all rolling stock application projects mainly Mainline business of Railways alongwith Metro wherever necessary
Be first point of contact and interface to all customers relevant to new projects.
Prepare comprehensive yearly sales plan and periodic review with management
Align the must-win and / or strategic projects with global / local stakeholders for implementing winnable strategy
Study the market developments and analyze and understand the opportunities that cab be catered from the portfolio
Participate in railway exhibitions conferences marketing and promotional events to promote Voith portfolio and be up-to-date with market happenings
Prepare enquity / RQ compliance documents not limited to draft bid or offer by gathering techno-commercial compliance status and their inputs on cost configurator
Bidding the cost configurator and offer BOM inputs to purchase and costing team for evaluatingHKO and consolidatig the KO7 inputs from local and global engineering
Finalize the GPC with costing and commercial team and align the same with top management for intiate offer approval process
Consolidate the techno commercial CbC compliance from respective stakeholders and prepare the comprehensive bid and submit the same to customer via their respective portal
Clarifying the bid queries between external and internal customers and arranging the sign-off of techno-commercial compliance docucments mutually
Negotiating with customer and contract draft finalization with internal / management alignment and follow-up to secure order from customer
Discuss and align the cost saving measures with costing engineering and purchase in formalizing the competitive yet sustainable project profitability proposal Order handover to project team post order stage GPC validaion with costing along with OTO stage sign-off document submission
Participate in project kick-off meeting and share sales inputs for meeting minutes
Look for opportunities to penetrate into new market and new / more customer acquisition
Support customers in resolving open points / issues related to running / completed projects Prepare management reports and presentations periodically and maintain data live and up-to-date
