Shift Timings: 4 Days a Week - 10 Hours Shift - 06:00 AM start but flexible
Position Summary
At the company you help to make the world safer cleaner and healthier! Assemblers will maintain manufacturing processes to support production safety delivery cost and quality goals. The role requires a great teammate who can operate complex test equipment perform part counts and prioritize safety. Responsibilities include manufacturing electro-mechanical assemblies working from assembly drawings inspecting in-process products for quality assurance and maintaining 5S standards. This is a hands-on role involving both large equipment and fine detailed assembly work using hand tools. Assemblers will perform a wide range of skilled mechanical assembly operations in a production environment.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Work safely and apply 5S principles to the work area.
  • Use lean practices to reduce bottlenecks eliminate waste and cut cycle time.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail to meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components occasionally under a microscope following assembly documentation and procedures.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement programs.
  • Document non-conformances.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 1 3 years of experience in electrical or mechanical assembly or equivalent industrial experience.
  • Soldering and familiarity with hand tools is required.
  • Prior experience working in a clean room.
  • Safe use of common hand and electronic assembly tools.
  • Proficiency with common hand and electronic assembly tools ensuring safe use.
  • Ability to perform cycle count program processing and resolve related issues.
  • Experience picking inventory parts to support manufacturing and customer needs.
  • Assist in packaging large instruments into shipping crates.
  • Comfortable working in a clean room environment.
  • Ability to write engineering change requests to address production documentation or design problems.
  • Experience with cycle count program processing and problem resolution.
