What Youll Do:
We have an opportunity for a Technical Publications Writer to support our Triton MQ4C aircraft and mission systems team in Jacksonville FL. Our ideal candidate will be able to utilize their hands-on Triton aircraft/MOD/FOB maintenance experience to assist in the writing and development of technical publications.
As the Technical Publications Writer you will be responsible for authoring technical communications editing interactive manuals and assisting the Triton Fleet Support Team during verification/validation of on-aircraft procedural reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting analysis reviews and evaluation of engineering data and requirements to develop and produce customized maintenance products.
- Creating technical data packages from vendor source data Navy engineering support and Navy logistics teams in support of the product development process.
- Become an expert editing Extensible Markup Language (XML) in S1000D Issue 4.1 specification.
- Adhering to established processes to incorporate Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDRs) and Electronic Rapid Action Changes (ERACs) utilizing a Common Source Database (CSDB) tool set.

Requirements
What Youll Bring:
Required Qualifications:
- Navy Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) qualification.
- 7 years of aircraft/avionics technician experience.
- Proficient in the use of Adobe Systems SharePoint and Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal education and/or a combination of education and technical writing experience.
- 3 years of hands-on Triton aircraft maintenance experience.
- Quality Assurance (QA) experience.
- Experience in NAVAIRrequirements graphics in publications product design system operation or related field.

- Ability to build positive collaborative relationships across teams and with external partners.
- Effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills.
- Proactive self-directed work style with the ability to operate independently.
- Analytical thinker with proven problem-solving capabilities.

Salary Range:
