Job Summary
Permanent Part-Time
Maryborough District Health Service (MDHS) is seeking a reliable and motivated Part-time Food & Domestic Assistant and Part-Time Supper Assistant in meal services and cleaning in a friendly community-focused healthcare setting supporting our residents patients visitors and staff. Day time and Evenings Shifts available.
About the Role
In this role you will:
- Assist with meal services
- Ensure safe food handling practices are followed
- Complete cleaning duties in line with infection control and cleaning standards
- Maintain cleaning schedules and required documentation
- Deliver friendly respectful customer service
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
About You
You will bring:
- Good availability and a flexible approach to work
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A Food Handlers Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in a similar role (desirable not essential)
