Our Automotive Parts Manager ensures a profitable return on dealer capital invested parts inventory. Automotive Parts Manager Compensation and Benefits:

Automotive Parts Manager Starting Salary: Monthly expected pay $7500-$10000.

2.25% of total Parts and Labor Adjusted Gross. Monthly Focus Bonuses at Parts Director discretion.

Generous Paid Time Off (PTO):We prioritize work-life balance offering industry-leading PTO. New full-time employees accrue 4 hours per pay period totaling approximately 96 hours in the first year with increases over time.

Automotive Parts Manager Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department body shop wholesale accounts and the do-it-yourself public.
  • Establishes individual parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnover.
  • Monitors and adjusts inventory to minimize obsolescence.
  • Ensures that all parts are properly tagged so that the dealership recovers full credit from the factory.
  • Supervises stock order procedures.
  • Analyzes sales expenses and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals.
  • Ensures that the same high-quality level of service provided to outside customers is also provided to internal dealership customers.
  • Works with the service manager and body shop manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs.

Parts Manager Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills (including listening speaking).
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Physical ability to use computer hardware/software.
  • Proven ability to supervise.
  • Ability to actively participate in team development and processes while motivating others to do the same.
  • Ability to prioritize.
  • Basic knowledge of dealership operations.
  • Previous dealership experience.
