Position: Contract Part-time Registered Nurse (General) Quality & Safety HKCH
Rank: Registered Nurse (General)
Cluster / Hospital: Hong Kong Childrens Hospital Kowloon Central Cluster
Pay: HK$37590 HK$60488 (HGPS Point 15 25) per monthincluding Monthly Allowance
To be pro-rated based on the total package and work pattern for a full-time Registered Nurse (General) depending on the work hours. (see Remark 2&3)
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage incidents of hospital including conducting incident investigation root cause analysis and implementing improvement measures. 2. Assist in planning coordinating and implementing risk reduction and quality improvement initiatives across the hospital. 3. Conduct regular audits and reviews of clinical quality indicators performance metrics and adverse incidents.
4. Provide secretariat support to departmental committees including coordinate meetings prepare agendas and presentation materials take minutes and compile required documentation and follow-up actions.
5. Prepare report papers and presentations for senior management boards and relevant committees. 6. Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to Quality & Safety Office.
7. Supervise and support clerical staff within the department to ensure smooth administrative operations.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Entry Requirements: |
1. | A Certificate of Registration (Part I) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong. |
2. | Fluent Cantonese. |
Preferable Attributes / Exposure: |
1. | Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese with the ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. |
2. | Demonstrates a strong dedication to upholding patient safety and promoting a culture of continuous improvement |
3. | Prior experience in incident investigation or working in Quality & Safety related healthcare setting is an advantage. |
