About the role
As a Community Relations Officer you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships between Essential Energy and its stakeholders including government media business and community groups. You will assist in developing and distributing targeted communications managing reputational risk support positive media coverage coordinate regional events and help resolve escalated customer complaints. The role also contributes to the bushfire mitigation project ensuring best-practice stakeholder engagement and promoting Essential Energys corporate image through effective internal and external communications.
This role will be based within theEssential Energy footprint with the ability to work from home in a hybrid work environment.

You are a proactive communicator with a passion for community engagement and stakeholder relations. You thrive in dynamic environments can adapt quickly to change and have a strategic mindset. Your ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively will be essential to your success in this role.
About your skills
You bring exceptional written and verbal communication abilities strong customer interaction and presentation skills. You have strong interpersonal skills can manage multiple priorities under pressure and possess sound computer and business system knowledge.
