This position is responsible for the proper installation operation and maintenance of alarm security systems. Responsibilities include inspecting testing and performing system checks in accordance to fire code;identifying code and system deficienciesand preparing accurate and timely inspection reports.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Install or update burglar alarms IT cameras and access control systems in commercial buildings.
Test and repair existing alarm/IT cameras and access controls systems to the prescribed standards
Perform routine inspections
Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers equipment as needed
Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
Inspect and maintain company truck and all related equipment putting in repair requests as necessary to maintain safe operation
Perform other duties assigned by management
Education & Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of two years experience in security alarm/access control industry
State issued TST License highly desired
Experience with commercial systems preferred
Display knowledge of principles practices codes and regulations related to the work
Interpret apply and explain applicable laws codes and regulations without supervision
Must have valid drivers license and must pass a motor vehicle driving check
Other Duties:
Adheres to the Code of Conduct Confidentiality Agreement and Company Safety Policy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Industrial Commercial & Residential building environment with moderate to high noise levels and comfort with working at heights.
Mostly a physically demanding role. Most of the daily demand is standing and walking stairs and climbing ladders.
May need to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
Ability to be on the phone and computer consistently throughout the day.
Pay:
$28 to $40 DOE & fire alarm licensing.
