This position is responsible for the proper installation operation and maintenance of alarm security systems. Responsibilities include inspecting testing and performing system checks in accordance to fire code;identifying code and system deficienciesand preparing accurate and timely inspection reports.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Install or update burglar alarms IT cameras and access control systems in commercial buildings.

  • Test and repair existing alarm/IT cameras and access controls systems to the prescribed standards

  • Perform routine inspections

  • Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers equipment as needed

  • Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports

  • Inspect and maintain company truck and all related equipment putting in repair requests as necessary to maintain safe operation

  • Perform other duties assigned by management


Education & Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of two years experience in security alarm/access control industry

  • State issued TST License highly desired

  • Experience with commercial systems preferred

  • Display knowledge of principles practices codes and regulations related to the work

  • Interpret apply and explain applicable laws codes and regulations without supervision

  • Must have valid drivers license and must pass a motor vehicle driving check

Other Duties:

  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct Confidentiality Agreement and Company Safety Policy.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Industrial Commercial & Residential building environment with moderate to high noise levels and comfort with working at heights.

  • Mostly a physically demanding role. Most of the daily demand is standing and walking stairs and climbing ladders.

  • May need to lift objects up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to be on the phone and computer consistently throughout the day.

Pay:

  • $28 to $40 DOE & fire alarm licensing.
