Purpose

We are looking for a driven and strategic Brand Management Intern to join our Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) team. This internship provides hands-on experience in managing iconic brands driving consumer engagement and supporting innovation in the refrigerated foods category.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with brand managers to develop and execute brand strategies and annual plans.

  • Support product innovation initiatives including concept development consumer testing and commercialization.

  • Analyze consumer insights market data and competitive trends to inform brand decisions.

  • Assist in the development of integrated marketing campaigns across digital retail and experiential channels.

  • Contribute to packaging development brand messaging and positioning efforts.

  • Prepare and present brand performance updates and strategic recommendations to cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Must graduate inAugust 2026 December 2026 May 2027 and major in Food Marketing Marketing Business or a related field with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred

  • Possesses strong analytical and communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrated leadership and persuasive skills are necessary for success in this position

  • Possesses a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Passion for building brands and understanding consumer behavior.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

  • Must be comfortable with the preparation and consumption of a variety of Hormel Foods Products which may include but not limited to pork beef chicken turkey and nuts

  • This position will require access to and/or the utilization of a personal motor vehicle to get to and from the workplace.

Location and Hours:

  • Based on business needs at the time an offer is made

  • Position is full time 40 hours per week beginning late May and ending mid-August

Compensation: The starting rate for this role is $24.00 per hour.
