Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Mentor apprentice technicians sharing expertise and best practices
- Regularly inspect and maintain diagnostic tools and shop equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service prioritizing the customers perspective and ensuring satisfaction with the service experience
Qualifications
- ASE certifications preferred but not required
- Strong automotive background
- Strong teamwork skills
- Must have a clean driving record and hold a valid drivers license
- Must be willing and able to submit to a Background Check and Drug Screen
