Temporary Security Officer Special Detail (Healthcare Facility)
Location: Washington Heights Manhattan NY
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Schedule: Temporary Assignment Morning Evening & Overnight Shifts Available
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced professional Security Officers for a temporary special security detail at a healthcare facility in Manhattan. Officers will be assigned to support site security operations during an upcoming labor strike. This role requires a strong presence professionalism and the ability to remain alert for extended periods.
This assignment also presents potential opportunities for permanent placement for top-performing officers.
Responsibilities
Maintain a professional and visible security presence at all times
Monitor access points and surrounding areas to ensure safety and order
Observe report and document any unusual or suspicious activity
Interact professionally with staff visitors and the public
Follow all post orders site protocols and company procedures
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of prior security experience required
Ability to stand and remain on post for the duration of assigned shifts
Professional appearance strong communication skills and reliable attendance
Ability to remain calm and composed in a high-visibility environment
Valid NYS Security Guard License (must be current and in good standing)
