As a prospective Finance Assistant you should have exceptional attention to detail an excellent aptitude for numbers good organisational skills and be a confident communicator.
Key Features / Benefits:
- Salary Band: 27254 - 28142 with annual incrementsplus inflation linked increases every April. The starting salary will be dependent on experience.
- Pension: An increasingly rare and valuable defined benefit Local Government Pension Scheme
- Holidays:26days plus bank holidays (this increases with length of service)
- Working Pattern: Full time 37 hours Monday to Friday.
- Onsite parking
- Access to the Employee Assistance Programme
- Access to Employee discounts cycle to work scheme Car benefit scheme and extras
Whilst it would be helpful if you had knowledge of the education sector it is not a barrier to any applicant as we will offer support and training to help you excel in this prior finance/payroll experience would be a significant benefit. The role will be critical to the overall effectiveness of the Finance function and provide the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge that will be of benefit to you in your future career. You will have the opportunity to take on real responsibilities work with senior colleagues and be involved in varied project work.
