Job Summary

Job Description:

A Mechanical Design Engineerdesigns develops and tests mechanical systems products and components (like machines robotics tools) by applying physics & engineering principles using CAD software for modeling creating technical drawings writing specs prototyping and collaborating with manufacturing ensuring designs are efficient effective and manufacturable from concept to production.Key responsibilities include problem-solving technical research simulation and providing support for installation and testing.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development:Create and revise mechanical designs for new and existing products.

CAD & Modeling:Use CAD(AutoCADSolidWorks)to produce detailed 2D/3D models and technical drawings.

Analysis & Simulation:Perform simulations and experiments to test and improve designs.

Prototyping:Oversee the development and testing of physical prototypes.

Technical Documentation:Write specifications operation manuals and technical documentation.

Collaboration:Work with manufacturing production and other teams to bring designs to reality.

Problem Solving:Apply engineering principles to solve mechanical and thermal challenges.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Education:Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Technical Skills:Proficiency in CAD/CAM software strong understanding of mechanics thermodynamics materials science.

Soft Skills:Critical thinking creativity project management communication adaptability analytical skills.

Experience:Internships or relevant experience often required;PE license preferred.
