Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections maintenance and repairs on used vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose vehicle issues using computerized diagnostic equipment and manual inspection techniques.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle condition and recommended services.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a vehicle service technician or mechanic preferably with used cars.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems including engine transmission brakes and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. ASE) are preferred.
- Valid drivers license and the ability to operate vehicles safely.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
