Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
Serves as Director Division of Inmate Visitation and Drug Testing.
- Responsible for directing and managing both programs statewide for the agency.
- Directs and supervises staff and ensures consistency in the application and approval/disapproval process for prospective visitors for all inmates at the Department of Corrections and SCDC inmates at designated facilities.
- Also directs and supervises the inmate drug testing program and ensures adequate agency staff within all institutions are properly trained to drug test the required percentage of the inmate population weekly and maintain records accordingly.
- Advises executive staff and agency managers of security concerns which negatively impact SCDC facilities.
- On Call 24/7.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A bachelors degree and relevant program management experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
- A masters degree and five (5) years of experience in administration or management of programs systems or operational procedures.
OR
- A bachelors degree and seven (7) years of experience in administration or management of programs systems or operational procedures.
OR
- An associates degree and nine (9) years of experience in administration or management of programs systems or operational procedures.
OR
- A high school diploma and eleven (11) years of experience in administration or management of programs systems or operational procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred experience with bluezone/mainframe & power apps.
