Your Role in Action
Support physicians and advanced practice clinicians during patient exams and clinical procedures.
Prepare patients by collecting vital signs medical histories and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
Perform laboratory collections assist with point-of-care testing and support minor procedures.
Maintain accurate timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Coordinate appointments referrals and diagnostic workflows.
Assist with patient communications phone calls and portal messages.
Deliver patient-focused care with professionalism compassion and adherence to safety standards.
Qualifications
Current Registered or Certified Medical Assistant credential (RMA CMA or equivalent)
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a practice setting preferred.
Current Health Care Provider CPR certification preferred or must be successfully completed prior to completion of orientation.
Medical office experience and medical terminology training preferred.
Working knowledge of anatomy physiology medical terminology basic laboratory values and pharmacology preferred.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
