Technica is seeking to hire a Warehouse Specialist for the DLA Distribution Center Inventory Department.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Position Summary:
- Performs a variety of warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the establishments storage plan. Work involves most of the following:
- Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
- Routing materials to prescribed storage locations
- Storing stacking or palletizing materials IAW prescribed storage methods
- Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
- Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment
- May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties
- Uses WMS and other Government Data Systems resolving common error conditions responds to computer output instructions or error conditions and following SOP
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid drivers license
- Must be able to sit and stand throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
- Must have the ability to be cleared for a NACI clearance to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Must be comfortable in a Warehouse environment (hot/cold weather) and requiring steel toe shoes
