- Bachelors degree in engineering Construction Management or other specified area of study as deemed applicable may substitute for one (1) year of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field.
- Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Oregon.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.

The anticipated hiring range for the Construction Managerposition is $47.27(first step) to $49.64or $52.12(second or third step).The City of Medford determines starting pay based on an evaluation of relevant education experience andqualifications as provided by the applicant in their application materials alongside others who perform work of comparable character consistent with the Oregon Equal Pay are included in this salary range allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps.

- Reviews and comments on engineering plans submitted for private development.
- Oversees all construction and inspection for private development and permitted work within the public right of way.
- Scope of assigned area of responsibility will depend on departmental structure and is at the discretion of the Deputy City Engineer.
