1st shift Production Supervisor

• Monitor all production equipment for maximum performance
• Monitor all personnel for performance and adherence to procedure
• Oversee all on the job training
• Enforcement of Production standards
• Enforcement of Quality standards
• Enforcement of Material handling standards
• Enforcement of Housekeeping standards
• Ensure proper and timely application of all process improvements
• Record and enter labor scrap and finished parts to maintain inventory
• Directly supervises 60 employees in the manufacturing department
• Responsibilities include training employees; planning assigning and directing work;appraising performance; rewarding and discipling employees; addressing complaintsresolving problems and safety
• Other duties may be assigned
• Responsible to ensure all internal and OSHA required safety procedures are followed
• Responsible to apply lean manufacturing methodologies to drive continuous improvementin manufacturing process
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. Quality manual Employee PolicyGuide etc.)

• Related Bachelors Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous automotive operations management experience preferred
• High energy and experience in inspiring and motivating cross-functional teams
