Job Summary
Title: Manufacturing Operator Cleanroom (1st Shift)
Pay Rate Range: $16.00/hr
Employment Type: Contract (approximately 6 months; extension possible)
Schedule: Full-time Monday Friday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (overtime possible)
Location: Fairport NY 14450 (100% Onsite)
Tekberry is hiring a Manufacturing Operator Cleanroom to support production operations at a leading advanced manufacturing facility in Fairport NY. This position assists with machine support inspection documentation and material movement within a regulated cleanroom environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing assembly warehouse or production experience who are looking to grow into a long-term manufacturing career.

Key Responsibilities Production & Machine Support-
Assist with machine setup and basic equipment preparation

Load materials and prepare workstations for production

Support operators to maintain production workflow
-
Perform basic teardown and cleaning of equipment
-
Use basic hand tools (allen keys screwdrivers wrenches)

Move raw materials and finished product between work areas
-
Stage and replenish supplies to production areas
-
Assist with shipping/receiving coordination
-
Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy
-
Perform basic visual inspections for defects or contamination
-
Enter production data and work order information
-
Maintain logs and records for traceability and compliance
-
Update tracking boards and production status systems
-
Follow cleanroom gowning procedures and PPE requirements
-
Maintain organized and sanitary work areas
-
Dispose of waste materials appropriately
-
Report safety hazards or equipment concerns
-
Learn standard operating procedures (SOPs)
-
Shadow experienced operators
-
Support training of new employees as needed
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Ability to follow written work instructions
-
Strong attention to detail
-
Ability to stand for extended periods
-
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
-
Willingness to work overtime if needed

Must meet U.S. Person / DOD compliance requirements

1 3 years manufacturing production assembly or warehouse experience
-
Cleanroom medical device or electronics manufacturing experience
-
Machine setup/teardown support
-
Sandblasting or mechanical shop experience
-
Experience documenting work processes
-
Cleanroom manufacturing environment
-
PPE required (safety glasses protective garments gloves etc.)

Use of hand tools and light equipment
-
