About this role
As a Senior IT Analystyou will useexpanded conceptual and practical knowledgeto solve complex issues achieve companygoalsand driveresults for Dow and eBusiness.
You willbe responsible foranalysis design implementation/adoption optimization of digital solutions delivering advanced functional and business capabilities.You will workhand-in-handwith a multi-disciplinary IT expert team (analysts/designers/developers/support) to deliver innovative digital solutions.Orchestrate functional and technical requirements analysis with emphasis on experience simplification automation efficiency reliability.Gather and analyze data to performa functionaland technical requirements analysis with emphasis on experience simplification automation efficiency reliability. Oversee the development optimizationimplementationand adoption of solutionsleveragingbest-in-class mobile web desktop cloudtechnologies.Identifiesopportunities for innovating with digital capabilities aiming to accelerate Dows digital transformation.
In this role you willrequirein-depth conceptual and working knowledge of your discipline or functional area. You will need to understand your disciplines best practices and how they relate to others.You may need to lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements as well as serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues.You should also be able to explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus with others.
It is your responsibility to analyze and resolve complex problems examine information from multiple sources and use judgement to evaluate established andnew solutions. Your performanceimpactsa range of customer operational project or service activities within your own team and other related teams and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies.You will work to apply your knowledge toassistsenior team members on a diverse range of innovative high-value projects with the opportunity to grow your career within ESS and Dow I/S.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis Understands key business driversin order toexplore analyzeand map business and function requirements.
- Documents detailed designs.
- Manages the Onboarding of EDI andOCRPartners.
- Quality Assurance & Hypercare-Validatedata accuracy post-implementation and managehyper caresupport. Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure compliance with standards.
- Communicates effectively both with the Dow team and with external stakeholders (Elemica Potential and Current EDIPartners).
- Communicates status metrics risks and issues on a timely basis.
- Applies knowledge and experiencetoidentifyand implement automation-Builds tests and implements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration - Act asliaisonbetween IT business units and external partners. Provide guidance toexternal partnersand internal teams on eBusiness tools and processes.
- Support Involved in andassistwith issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in IT discipline preferred or a minimum of5years of relevant experience.
Your skills
- PreviousExperience Electronic Document interchange EDI IDOC processing mapping XML preferably EDI standards like ANSI EDI fact.
- PreviousExperience with SAP (ECC) and work process knowledge
- Experience working with external vendors & internal stakeholders which could include warehouses 3PLscustomersand carriers.
- Fluent English in verbal and written communications.
- Skillsknowledgeand abilities mustinclude.
- Strong communicationand interpersonal effectiveness skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project Management.
- Ability to work effectively with onsite and offshore teams.
