Hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (40 hours per week)
Pay Range: $55$65 per hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support Case Management Utilization Review and Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) functions in an acute care hospital setting. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality patient care accurate clinical documentation and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform utilization reviews to ensure appropriate use of healthcare resources
Manage and coordinate patient care plans and discharge processes
Review and enhance clinical documentation to support accurate coding reimbursement and quality outcomes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care delivery
Ensure compliance with hospital policies regulatory requirements and quality standards
Provide education and guidance to clinical staff on documentation and care management best practices
Qualifications
Active New York State RN license
BLS certification (must be current and maintainable)
Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care hospital experience
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Strong communication organizational and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
