Job Title: CT Technologist Contract

Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a short-term contract assignment in Brooklyn NY. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise adherence to safety protocols and the ability to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a flexible scheduling environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT imaging procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks to confirm proper equipment functionality prior to patient examinations.
Administer contrast and radioactive materials in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Complete all required departmental documentation including logs charge records and equipment issue reports to ensure regulatory compliance.
Perform quality control quality assurance and safety testing in alignment with departmental standards.
Follow radiation safety guidelines and comply with the ALARA principle.
Maintain develop and retrieve patient imaging records (films and electronic data) for radiologist interpretation.
Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day prior to use.
Receive and verify radiopharmaceutical deliveries ensuring correct activity levels prior to administration.
Skills & Competencies
Perform CT procedures according to established protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Exercise sound clinical judgment and respond appropriately to patient needs before during and after imaging procedures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and quality care.
Education & Certification Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
New York State Department of Health License (L.R.T).
ARRT Certification in Radiography and current CT certification.
BLS Certification (current).
Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required.
