The Nursing Home Administrator Opportunity:
The Nursing Home Administrator provides overall strategic clinical and operational leadership for the nursing home. This position is responsible for ensuring excellence in resident care compliance with state and federal regulations financial sustainability and the development of a high-performing workforce. The Director partners closely with the Medical Director Director of Nursing and other senior leaders to establish organizational priorities drive continuous improvement and strengthen resident family and community relationships.

Compensation and Benefits:
- The starting pay range for this role is $130000 - $144500 based on education and experience.
- This position is full-time and in person.

- As a full-time employee of NCHC you would be eligible for the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). The WRS is a hybrid defined benefit plan. What Qualifies You:
Required:
- Current Wisconsin Nursing Home Administrator License (and federal registry listing)
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Nursing Business Administration or related field
- More than four years of leadership experience in nursing home or long-term care administration
- Expertise in CMS regulations survey process and QAPI programs.
- Strong clinical knowledge with ability to evaluate care practices and outcomes.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead change foster staff engagement and resolve complex problems.
Preferred:
- More than five years of progressive leadership in long-term care
- Demonstrated success in regulatory survey performance financial management and workforce development

What a Nursing Home Administrator does at NCHC:
- Develop and implement strategic priorities to meet community needs and organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with CMS DHS state and federal regulatory standards including survey readiness and corrective actions.
- Oversee Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs integrating data-driven decision making.
- Manage all business operations including billing accounting purchasing and staffing models.
- Prepare and manage the annual operating budget ensuring adherence and corrective action for variances.
- Direct caregiver misconduct investigations and regulatory reporting.
- Partner with the Director of Nursing to review care plans clinical practices and improve workflows.
- Promote resident dignity rights privacy and satisfaction.
- Lead recruitment onboarding training and retention initiatives for all staff.
- Establish staffing levels that align with regulatory requirements and resident acuity.
- Foster a culture of engagement continuous learning and professional development.
- Build strong relationships with residents families hospitals physicians and community partners.
- Directly supervises department heads and senior management at the nursing home.
- Responsible for hiring promotion coaching discipline and termination decisions.
- Provides oversight for approximately 10 direct/indirect reports across professional and management levels.
- Assign and evaluate work review performance and manage staff development in collaboration with HR.
- Other related duties as assigned.
