Job Summary

CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR Job Description: (Independent Assignment) The selected candidate shall be performed his duty independently to support the concerned section as per the below detailed task. • Responsible for preparing examining analyzing negotiating and revising contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods or services such as equipment materials supplies or products. • Review and negotiate contractual details including specifications price date of delivery and contractual provisions etc. • Prepares proposal for supply and service contracts. • Coordinate with maintenance teams in the preparation of bid documents prequalification documents bid requests bid evaluations contract negotiations and contractor selection. • Coordinate the post-award contract administration including change management lien waivers kick of meeting arrangements claims mitigation and contract close-out. • Track authorizations and correspondences. • Maintain detailed and organized files. • Maintain an audit file for each contract which will include original contract all correspondence changes/deviations amendments clarifications payment schedules. • Ensure that executed contract agreements are entered and maintained in the CMMS for Contractor invoice payment and accounting purposes. • Ensure that contractor is in compliance with legal requirements owner specifications and government regulations. • Monitor & control the contracts terms and conditions and review all completion stages certificates and invoicing approval process. • Review contractor nominated subcontractor bid lists for acceptability. • Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with company policy. • Contribute to the development of contracting policies and procedures in coordination with Material Legal Finance internal maintenance colleagues to ensure contracts are executed in accordance with company policies and procedures. Basic qualifications & experience: • MANDATORY - bachelor’s degree in engineering mechanical • MANDATORY - 7 years' experience in the preparation administration and monitoring of contracts to include 3 years’ supervisory experience in management and/or administrative capacity. • Relevant experience in contract management international standards (ex. FIDIC PMI etc.) Language & communication skills • MANDATORY - Ability to communicate fluently in English language. (Speak Read & Write) • Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. • Strong Negotiation skill Establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contacted in the course of work. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Positive attitudes and strong personality. Computer Skills • Computer literate and experience in use of MS office. • Familiar with SAP I CMMS software application.
