The Sales Engineer will be responsible for sales and business development of Rockwell Automation products across industrial sectors. The role involves understanding customer process requirements proposing suitable automation solutions developing new customers and achieving sales targets through value-based selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of Automation products including PLC SCADA HMI VFD Motion and Safety systems.
- Identify prospect and develop new business opportunities in industrial markets.
- Understand customer process needs and recommend appropriate automation solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
- Conduct technical presentations product demos and commercial discussions.
- Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships.
- Coordinate with internal teams for proposals technical support and execution.
- Prepare sales reports and documentation using MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong industry and application knowledge in industrial automation
- Excellent sales fundamentals: prospecting lead qualification negotiation closing
