Successful candidates will haveprevious experience working on a wide range of Sustainability and Climate topics (risk management sustainability strategy compliance product creation etc.) at Banks Insurance companiesconsultancy firms orCorporateissuerscovering financial institutions. They alsoexhibita passion for these issues.

To succeed in the rolethe business development specialistmust haveaproventrack recordin lead generationability tolearn MSCI Sustainability and Climate solutions and guideprospects andclients to better use those solutions in the context of specific requirements manage prospectpipelinepitches and follow up.

Business Developmentspecialists are adaptablestrongly motivated and natural huntersable toconduct management reporting.Excellentcommunications skills area mustas theyrepresent MSCI Sustainability and Climate to all levels of client management.

Your Key Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor for clients and their advocate within MSCI Sustainability and Climate Research
Achieve target outreaches pitch meetings and conversion to drive revenue growth with outstanding client engagement and service
Support senior sales teams to educate clients on key Sustainability Climate and Carbon Markets in pre-sales/up-sell/on-boarding activities
Identifyaccounts at risk and create a plan to ensure revenue and client retention; working with cross-functional teams to address issuesin a timely manner
Take ownership for projects to help improve new business generation and team efficiency
Relationship Management Focus
Sustainability Climate and Carbon Markets expertise
Act as liaison between the clients and internal MSCI teams for key client initiatives

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

3-5 years of experience working onbusiness lead generation
Excellent organizational presentation and communication skills. Highproficiencyin English is necessary. Additional European languagesare aplus.Knowledgeand interest inwide range ofSustainability -SustainabilityClimateand Carbon marketstopics atCorporates
Innovative motivated client-orientedand commerciallydriven individual
A team player able to effectively manage the expectations of a diverse and demanding client base
