Your new role

This role offers the opportunity to shape the global launch of a first-in-class therapy for sickle cell disease. Whilst leading the brand you will take full accountability for building the commercial strategy guiding cross-functional teams and ensuring readiness for market entry. Your work will transform clinical evidence into meaningful customer value driving adoption and long-term impact for patients worldwide.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute the global brand and launch plan including positioning messaging and forecast assumptions.
  • Define customer segmentation prescriber profiles treatment pathways and commercial KPIs to measure success.
  • Lead cross-functional launch readiness across Commercial Excellence Medical Market Access Patient Support and Supply.
  • Drive pre-launch activities such as naming brand strategy and market positioning.
  • Oversee governance deliverables to support investment decisions and activation plans.
  • Build market awareness by capturing patient journey insights and converting expert feedback into actionable tactics.
  • Manage external partners and agencies to deliver promotional materials and multichannel launch campaigns.

Your skills & qualifications

  • 10 years in the global pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated leadership of global or regional launches; affiliate experience an advantage.
  • Masters degree or higher (science or business preferred).
  • Strong commercial acumen including forecasting customer segmentation and launch excellence.
  • Experience in rare disease and/or haematology (sickle cell disease) preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder management in matrix organisations; comfortable engaging KOLs and external agencies.
  • Data-driven strategic thinker with hands-on launch execution capability.
