IM Transcend is a multi-year global business transformation initiative that will modernize our end-to-end Supply Chain digital capabilities by harmonizing our disparate ecosystem of 7 major global ERP systems standardizing our core business processes and products across Plan Source Make Deliver Quality and Data and enabling our integrated data strategy through a single SAP S/4 HANA instance.

The Director Global Data & Analytics Deploy Lead plays a pivotal leadership role within a large-scale multi-year global SAP S/4HANA transformation program with responsibility for orchestrating all deployment activities related to Data Master Data Governance (MDG) Data Migration Data Quality Reporting and Analytics across multiple global releases.

As the senior-most leader overseeing data deployment execution this role ensures that all data objectsincluding Material Customer Vendor Business Partner Finance Supply Chain Quality and Manufacturing dataare fully prepared validated migrated and governed in alignment with the global template regulatory compliance requirements and business readiness expectations.

This position leads a global organization comprising three Senior Manager Release Deploy Leads each accountable for data deployment execution for their assigned release or region. Together they ensure end-to-end deployment coverage across planning build testing cutover go-live and hypercare phases.

In a global pharmaceutical environment data deployment is mission-critical for ensuring GxP compliance data integrity batch traceability regulatory reporting financial controls audit readiness and uninterrupted supply to patients. The Director ensures that data readiness strategies meet stringent compliance standards and support efficient risk-managed deployment execution worldwide.

Success in this role requires deep expertise in data migration MDG analytics readiness deployment planning and global program deliverycombined with exceptional leadership communication and cross-functional influence skills in a complex matrixed multi-regional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead the global data & analytics deployment strategy across all waves/releases of the S/4HANA program.

Build and maintain a standardized deployment framework covering data conversion validation MDG readiness data quality reporting enablement and analytics activation.

Lead a high-performing global deployment team managing three Senior Manager Release Deploy Leads.

Serve as the primary data deployment authority for program leadership markets and workstreams.

Chair global Data Deployment Governance Forums and readiness checkpoints.

Partner with Global Process Owners Data Stewards MDG Leads Data Migration teams Quality & Compliance and Functional Track Leads to ensure alignment across all deployment activities.

Coordinate with regional deployment leads to ensure consistent application of global standards.

Escalate risks and propose mitigation strategies to program executives and steering committees.

Oversee deployment execution across all phases including pre-deployment planning mapping and cleansing readiness testing cycles mock loads cutover execution go-live and hypercare.

Ensure that data conversion cycles meet quality timeliness and completeness targets.

Ensure MDG workflows data models and governance rules are fully deployed and validated before go-live.

Align MDG configuration and data lifecycle controls with global template and regulatory expectations.

Define and oversee global data quality objectives metrics and validation requirements.

Ensure compliance with GxP SOX GDPR audit data integrity (ALCOA) and other regulatory frameworks.

Oversee reporting enablement dashboard deployment and analytical dataset readiness for each release.

Lead coach and develop a team of Senior Manager Release Deploy Leads.

Drive continuous enhancement of deployment methodology tools accelerators templates and processes.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in IT Data Management Engineering Business Supply Chain or related discipline.

12 years of experience in SAP data deployment data migration MDG or enterprise data governance roles.

Experience leading data deployment in at least one major SAP S/4HANA or ECC global transformation program.

Strong understanding of SAP data structures across MM SD FI/CO PP QM WM/EWM BP and MDG.

Experience in the pharmaceutical biotech healthcare or other highly regulated industries strongly preferred.

Deep understanding of GxP SOX audit CSV data integrity (ALCOA) GDPR and quality requirements.

Demonstrated experience leading global teams and managing senior-level staff.

Experience & Skills

Expertise in SAP S/4HANA data migration methodologies ETL tools and conversion orchestrations.

Hands-on understanding of MDG-M MDG-C MDG-S and BP data governance frameworks.

Experience supporting SIT/BST/UAT/PQ test cycles and ensuring test data integrity.

Strong knowledge of analytical reporting datasets KPIs and BI platform deployment.

Proven ability to lead and inspire multi-regional teams in a complex matrix environment.

Exceptional ability to manage large-scale multi-release deployment programs.

Strong skills in risk management issue resolution and executive-level communication.

Ability to influence global stakeholders across business IT compliance and quality functions.

Strong facilitation negotiation and cross-functional alignment capabilities.

High attention to detail and strong commitment to compliance and audit readiness.

Proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
