Job Summary
Position Description
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of duties including receiving storing picking and packing materials to support all aspects of the business. This position ensures efficient stockroom operations and supports accurate inventory management to meet company and customer requirements
Responsibilities
- Accurately store materials in designated locations maintaining proper organization and labeling
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Pull and issue parts materials and supplies to production or other departments as requested
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records by using the ERP system
- Work collaboratively with team members and support departments to resolve production issues
- Safely operate a lift or fork truck when picking orders or putting away materials
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor
- Prepare materials for shipment including packaging labeling and documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom area
- Follow all company policies safety policies and quality guidelines
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 12 years of experience in a stockroom warehouse or inventory control environment
- Ability to read and interpret work orders packing slips and inventory documentation
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Detailed oriented with good computer skills (ERP system Excel and Microsoft Word programs)
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Salary Description
Starting $25 Per Hour
