Inventory & Supply Support Specialist Job Duties -
Issue parts equipment and supplies as requested.

Ensure the security of all supply storage areas.

Maintain accurate inventory schedules for parts supplies and equipment.

Receive log store and ship parts supplies and equipment.
-
Coordinate the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
-
Review work orders for accuracy and completeness.
-
Perform data entry for requisitions and received parts in the inventory system.
-
Complete requisition forms from Divisions and Districts and ship orders accordingly.
-
Maintain detailed records of all items shipped and received.
-
Pick up receive store and deliver unclaimed property and state surplus items.
-
Provide support for the Department inspection program.
-
Assist with moving Department offices and equipment as needed.
-
Support distribution of supplies and equipment at the walk-up counter.
-
Unload supplies received from vendors and assist vendors receiving used parts and equipment.
-
Respond to telephone inquiries regarding inventory and supplies.
-
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications -
High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.

Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.

Proficiency in computer use for inventory control and data entry.

Ability to read and interpret parts and supply manuals.

Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to receive record store and issue automotive supplies.
-
Ability to safely load and unload supplies and equipment.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.
