Job Summary

Position : Coordinator Transport

Location : Karachi

Qualification

Diploma or bachelors degree in Logistics Transport Management or a related field.

Experience

3 to 5 years in transport operations or fleet supervision.

Requirements

Knowledge of national transport regulations heavy vehicle compliance and load securing standards.
Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Problem-solving and quick decision-making under pressure.
Proficiency in GPS tracking and transport management systems.
Ability to enforce standards and manage transporter relationships.
Ability to work in remote field environments with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Review 90-day cargo plans to analyze material types dimensions and weight profiles.
Define truck types and quantities required for each cargo category.
Forecast fleet requirements for the upcoming 90-day period considering operational constraints.
Ensure truck configurations comply with safety standards and legal requirements.
Coordinate with procurement warehouse and site logistics teams to validate cargo readiness.
Provide detailed fleet requirement data to the Scheduler for integration into dispatch plans.
Recommend strategies for load planning and truck utilization optimization.
