Job Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our team. The Waking Night Support Worker will be responsible for providing support and assistance to our clients during the night ensuring their safety and well-being. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor clients throughout the night and provide any necessary assistance or support - Administer medication as prescribed by medical professionals - Carry out regular checks and observations to ensure clients are safe and comfortable - Respond to any emergencies or incidents that may occur during the night - Complete accurate and timely documentation of all activities and incidents - Communicate effectively with colleagues and other professionals involved in the care of our clients - Promote independence and encourage clients to participate in activities and daily living tasks - Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times - Attend training and development opportunities as required Requirements: - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential - A compassionate and caring nature - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Good understanding of safeguarding and health and safety procedures - Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as required - Basic knowledge of medication administration - NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it Benefits: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for career progression and development - Comprehensive training and support - Friendly and supportive working environment - Employee recognition and reward schemes If you are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and have the necessary skills and experience we would love to hear from you.
