TD Asset Management Inc. (TDAM) is anInvestmentManagement firm with leading market positions in activequantitativeand passive portfolio management serving a large and diversified client base including pension funds corporations institutions endowmentsfoundationsand high net worth individuals. We also offer private money management services and manage retail mutual funds.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a front-officeData Analystto join us on the Portfolio Research & Analytics team to buildcutting edgeportfolio management and reporting this role you will work directly with Portfolio Managers and Traders to automate data flows and develop dashboards for periodic reporting using technologies such as SQL Python and Business Intelligence tools. The tools built by the Portfolio Research & Analytics team are directly used inthe dailymanagement onmonitoring inhundreds of billions of dollars in assets.

Students will have the opportunity to work on several projects communicating with multiple teams in the frontofficeand gaining a deeper understanding of their data needs. Students will gain experience working with large datasets creating dashboards backenddevelopmentand significant hands-on SQL database experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree (Math Engineering CS Economics) with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term.

  • Strong SQL (or similar database) skills ability toworkthe large dataset and effectively communicate ideas are essential work success in this position.

  • Previousexperience developing dashboards (Superset TableauPowerBI) or other data visualization tools is preferred.

  • Strong communicationskills and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Coursework or interest in finance will be considered an asset.

  • This is a hybrid work arrangement (4 days in office)
