Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

Supervises and performs direct and indirect resident care as specified by individual resident care plans and physician orders according to federal state and facility rules regulations and policies.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Education: Associate s degree from an accredited university
Experience: Previous geriatric experience preferred
Licensure: Current RN/LPN licensure from the State of Michigan
Skills: Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing. Must demonstrate computer literacy including use of computer programs and applications. Must be CPR trained and possess a current BLS certification.

1 year LPN experience - REQUIRED
AHA BLS - REQUIRED DOCUMENT
SNF exp - PREFERRED

This position follows AHSAs clinical interview process. Candidates can expect outreach within two hours via phone and text where applicable with decisions typically made the same day or by the next business day. Applicants who are looking for more than 7 days off who are seeking more than 50% of holidays off and/or have negative background or employment history are not eligible for the same processing timeline.

A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit it would be in the traveler s best interest to provide a write-up of what happened for the managers review.
Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
