Shift & Schedule

Shift: Day Shift
Hours: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
Schedule: Flexible (5 days x 8 hours)
On-Call Requirement: Yes
- Rotating call: 12 15 days per month
- Every other weekend per month
- On-call schedule may vary based on unit needs

Position Summary

Dallas Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract. The Cath Lab RN will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures while working collaboratively with physicians and the cath lab team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide pre- intra- and post-procedure nursing care for Cath Lab patients
Monitor hemodynamics cardiac rhythms and patient status during procedures
Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
Administer medications moderate sedation and IV therapies per protocol
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery
Participate in rotating on-call coverage as scheduled
Ensure compliance with hospital policies safety standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Active Texas RN License (or compact license)
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or IR experience
ACLS & BLS certifications required
Cath Lab or IR experience preferred
Recent Nursys Report (within 30 days)
