Job Summary

OurYouth Basketball Refereeis responsible for the safety and control of the game as assigned and the rules of the game must be studied known and used consistently in every game.

Scheduled: Saturdays 9:00am - 3:00pm
Pay rate: $18.00

Essential Functions Include:

Arrive on time for all games when assigned.
Wear appropriate uniform as required to support position as a referee.
Make calls that are consistent and correct with the rules.
Hustle up and down the court.
Move about the court to keep up with play to be in position to make the appropriate calls.
Provide a high quality of customer service in a professional manner to the internal customer that will facilitate team building and exceptional customer service to the external customer.
Follow the Deerfield Park District policies procedures and guidelines.
Maintains good safety and awareness and follow all safety guidelines and procedures.

Requirements

Must be 18 years old or older
Works well in a team environment
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with those contacted during work at all levels including a culturally diverse public with a focus on safety and quality customer service
We abide by the IL Park District Code
Must pass a background check
