About the Nature Towns & Cities Project:
The Nature Towns and Cities Project is a transformative programme designed to enhance Walsalls green and blue spaces promote biodiversity and integrate nature and health priorities into the heart of our boroughs regeneration. Working with a diverse range of partnersincluding Natural England Birmingham & Black Country Wildlife Trust Canal and River Trust University of Birmingham Walsall Together and local community groupsthis project will deliver lasting benefits for residents visitors and the environment.
As Project Manager you will:
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in project management (preferably in the green space or conservation sector) experience with large-scale multi-agency partnerships budget management skills and the ability to influence at all levels. A relevant degree or equivalent experience and a recognised project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2) or equivalent experience are essential. For internal council candidates the role can be applied for as a fixed-term role or a secondment.
