Experienced Asphalt Screed Operator
Rummel Construction is seeking an experienced Asphalt Screed Operator. You should have experience working on paving projects and have the ability to work safely at all times. This is a safety sensitive position that is responsible for operating heavy construction equipment with knowledge of hazards safety precautions awareness and of paving for a variety of projects.
Youll be working with scores of experienced operators who put safety first and work together to meet the days goals. We take pride in taking care of our equipment and making sure our employees are set up to be successful. We typically work Monday-Friday though some project schedules may require WEEKEND work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Get off and on equipment using 3 points of contact
Conduct daily routine inspections on assigned equipment and report defects to supervisors
Work safely in all weather conditions (hot humid cold wet etc.)
Approx. 3 years experience in the construction industry Preferred
Experience in paving and heavy construction with knowledge of paving a variety of projects
